Religion is a hoax and a form of mind control. I've seen that comment more times than I can count.
When if I told you that I agree?
What do I believe?
What do I testify?
Who and what do I "stand with"?
Those are a lot of "I" statements, but these are important questions because who we "stand with" matters. Our testimony matters. Do we stand with what is good and what is true? It affects our witness. I do not want to be a stumbling block to a non-believing world because of what they see religious people doing and saying.
There are major world religions that truly seem to love *God so much.
*God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob = The Most High
𝐁𝐮𝐭, 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐒𝐨𝐧. By rejecting His Son, you reject God. It is written. You will not be able to identify counterfeits without knowing the Original and what He says.
These people draw near to Him with their mouth, and honor Him with their lips, but their heart are far from Him. Their worship of God is pointless, because their teachings are rules made by men. (Matthew 15) They add and take away from the word of God.
They lie, murder, steal, and destroy in the name of God. It's a stench to His nostrils (Isaiah 65). Faith in Jesus does not justify any of that. People use Old Testament scriptures and dealings to justify modern evil deeds when 'it is finished'.
True believers of Jesus have their minds set on 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐯𝐞, not things on earth.
A people of peace.
Blessed are those that believe 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 that they say they have found this religious relic or that tomb where some bible character was allegedly buried.
Men will lie and lie big.
Blessed are those that believe without having to see things man can make up or fabricate in order to substantiate and further a lie. They love not the truth. Their god is their belly. Their father is the devil.
Blessed are those that believe but have never stepped a foot in the physical state of Israel. Blessed are those who set their minds on things above. Blessed are those that believe without knowing they allegedly found Noah's ark, the shroud of Turin, or Jesus' tomb. Blessed are those that do not need or desire a laser light show to worship the King. Blessed are the meek and the humble.
Set your mind on things above, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 on things on the earth.

The traditions and rules of men? Pay close attention to the statement made at the 30 second mark. Many believers get this fact confused on what exactly Jesus was talking about.
How people respond to information is up to them. It's my prayer that it's taken and used
to prepare mentally, physically, and spiritually.
ℳℴ𝓈𝓉 𝒾𝓂𝓅ℴ𝓇𝓉𝒶𝓃𝓉𝓁𝓎, test the information. Test it all.

There is no need to become a "follower" of ANYONE (the man in this video, for example)
unless you test them yourself against the Word of God.
This is my disclaimer for ALL things you read/listen to. There is no ONE person who has everything 100% right "theologically". Pray for discernment. There is no ONE teacher I endorse other than Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit. The rest of us are fallible and speaking according to what we have
learned and should be tested against the word of God.
What sounds good and makes us feel good isn't always the truth.
God sent His son as the final and and perfect sacrifice because God is holy and NO ONE is or was able to keep His commandments. The shed blood of Jesus covers us so that we can be presentable to a Holy God. To make you and I righteous to a Holy God.
Jesus is the only One that faithfully kept all the commandments in order to be the perfect sacrifice. The bible is God's love story for mankind. There is no mental gymnastics to be had. Even if God never revealed another thing to me, Jesus is enough.
It's spiritually logical to me that there's no way I can stand before The Most High depending on any deeds I can produce myself. Can you even imagine explaining to God how good you are and why you deserve heaven? God forbid.
Jesus is not a religion that man can form and He's not a denomination.
He is the Savior of the world. This truth is for everyone.

Spiritual application of the blood on the doorpost:
You may be standing in this life without Him, but in the next, when we stand before The Most High, He won't be asking a list of questions and trying to figure out if your soul "deserves" heaven - He will be looking to see if you are covered by the shed blood of Jesus.

When the OT people put blood on their doorpost, God did not go in and check to see if they were worthy. He checked for the blood on their doorposts. The blood that the people obediently put on their doors through their faith in His promises.
Spiritual application: There are no longer blood sacrifices because Jesus was the final sacrifice. When we say we're covered by the blood, this represents us being covered by the blood spiritually. Blood bought children of God.
Jesus said, "My Kingdom is not of this world." We worship in spirit and in truth as we are the temple of God.
Man can build temples, but His Holy Spirit is in us; a cathedral with no walls.
His grace is for every person no matter who you are, where you are from, or what your DNA is. Set your mind on things above, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 on things on the earth.

I speak the truth in Christ; I am not lying, as confirmed by my conscience in the Holy Spirit.
For I am not like so many others, who peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ I speak before God with sincerity, as a man sent from God.

This is what I testify of in the name of Jesus. I represent no church with walls, no group, no cult, no rituals. I preach Christ because your soul matters to me. I do not hide the Light under a basket, I put it on a lampstand for all to see.
Many can't seem to separate Jesus from religion and I get it. I want to help with that. Build up and edify.
I was looking up "simplicity of Christ" and the first thing that popped up on the search engine's results was a cult's website - the opposite of what the simplicity of Christ is.
Many cults and religions have included Jesus and His teachings in their cult or religion as man has polluted the Gospel since the beginning. Claiming to be wise, they became fools.
Man has used His name in vain to further political ideology, for power, to justify war & murder, to gain the trust of people with certain political leanings, to fatten their pockets, or to make a name for themselves, - the list goes on.
The simplicity that is in Christ; link to context, cross reference, study, commentaries, and different translations:
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:28
Believe on the Messiah and you are the people of God. You speak boldly and testify of the good things He has done. Set your mind on things above, 𝐧𝐨𝐭 on things on the earth.
Who the Son sets free is free indeed! John 8:36
"Whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet." Matthew 10:14
Shaking the dust off your feet is not marking anyone for condemnation.
It's more like you sharing an invitation, if it's rejected, then it's rejected. Move on, pray for them and the seed planted, and trust in God's timing. God stands at the door and knocks. He isn't banging it down and forcing anyone to do anything.
