Living in a consistent state of fear, panic, stress, and anxiety can make one sick or exacerbate illness. This is a well-known established fact.
It’s not that we will never have those emotions, but we can try to control them better before they control us.
I think most of us can agree, no matter where you stand on our current world wide health situation, something nefarious is going on. Many of us are finding it difficult to find trustworthy sources and answers, including myself.
We've been lied to so much at this point; I know it's frustrating.
I want to meet people where they are and try to be helpful and edifying because it is not good for us to live in fear! It just isn't.
Open your eyes to the battle for the mind, body, and soul that's going on all around us.
𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥, 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐈'𝐦 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭 is because I’ve had several friends call/message me asking for advice when they are feeling unwell.
Frankly, I’m not sure how comfortable I am with that considering some of the symptoms people are calling/messaging me in a panic over (shortness of breath, heart racing, panic attacks due to fear of the virus or a positive test, etc). Serious stuff.
So it’s up to you if you think any of this will be helpful to you and your family. I'm not sharing this because I like to hear myself, for 'likes', or for whatever. I want to help more people if possible and it's MUCH easier to toss this link to them. That's it. Feel free to copy and paste what you want. That goes for anything I share on here. You don't even have to share my link. Just take what information you need and be well.
Disclaimer: If any of my friends comment, that is THEIR experience and suggestion. Not mine. Let our speech be good and edifying 🖤
I’d like to share some tips that I’ve been using for a long time. Since 2005, I've either worked in a hospital, lab, or doctors office...so I do what I can to stay well day to day.
I’m not saying I am a picture of health nor am I even remotely an expert. 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐧𝐞𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫. So there's your disclaimer. Just sharing what I do for me and my family on an as needed basis. I still have MUCH work to do when it comes to be own wellness. So there's that.
We all think about sickness. We all think about dying. It's shoved in our face all day! We've all been through some thangs and are going through some thangs!
I am not afraid to speak on death because the Most High God numbers my days and I am not afraid of the after-life because I am covered by the blood of Christ. Be it tomorrow or in 50 years, I know where I'm going when my soul leaves this flesh.
I think if we all shared our personal experiences (the good, the bad, and the ugly), we can be helpful to one another. What works...what doesn't work....etc.
I want us all to make it.
Ok. Here goes!
Also, feel free to share any tips you may have in the comment section.
Routine Supplements:
𝐈 routinely 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐭 𝐂, 𝐕𝐢𝐭 𝐃, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐙𝐢𝐧𝐜. I need a boost since my diet and exercise regimen (or lack thereof, lol) is not the best ever. I have ups and downs when it comes to this - as most of us do in our busy lives. Also, I say routinely because even supplements can be taxing on your body (your liver for example) to process daily. We should be getting nutrients from our FOOD and make our best effort to do so. That is difficult for many folks to do these days due to all the dead, processed food we eat. So I am sharing these supplements considering all of this.
► Vit C: Sometimes I take 1,000 mg in a day, sometimes I take 5,000 mg spread out during the day. It really depends on how I feel or how many sick folks have been in my face. Research Vit C and its uses and you will be blown away! https://www.bronsonvitamins.com/vitamin-c-non-acidic... An interesting link on Vit C and why it's important to choose a good Vit C. I have been using the Bronson brand for a very long time and have been recommending it to friends for years. https://pointsoforigin.com/vitamin-c/
► Vit D3: I take 4,000 IU per day (routinely) because I am always deficient on my lab reports. Research on your own time how important Vit D3 is, you will be blown away on this as well. I personally support this brand in the picture below bc since taking this particular one, for the first time in forever, my Vit D levels were in normal range. Make sure you are getting some sunshine! Don't just depend on a miracle tablet. https://www.swansonvitamins.com/swanson-premium-higher...
► Zinc: 30 mg per day. At the onset of feeling unwell (very important to not wait until you are on the struggle bus to begin some kind of regimen) I take 60 mg per day. Taking too much Zinc can exacerbate an illness, fyi. So look up your own dosages as far as that goes. https://www.swansonvitamins.com/swanson-premium-zinc...
𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲. Research for yourself or ask your physician how much you should take. The brands I use are what I can personally vouch for. You aren't required to buy under anyone, join a club, or anything like that. They are affordable and work for me (as far as I can tell after years of using them). Pretty sure the dosages I use would be fine for anyone, though. But like I said, I'm no expert!
I take a couple other things routinely, like fish oil, selenium, magnesium, and something natural for emotional wellness. But I won't share the specifics on those because those are managed personally with my MD. Remember, it's good to skip days or take breaks when taking supplements.
Supplements can be taxing on your liver. Some supplements can even affect your heart like Magnesium and Potassium. So doing your own research and talking to your trusted healthcare provider is important. A lab test can be ordered to measure your levels before you begin taking any supplement.

(𝐞𝐱𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐝𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲!)
Yes. I know. We aren't allowed to cough and sneeze anymore. But we need to!
We breathe in toxins all day every day. When you exhale, you breathe out toxins.
► Steam therapy. Steam therapy, or steam inhalation, involves inhaling water vapor to open the airways and help the lungs drain mucus.
► Controlled coughing: make yourself cough regularly to loosen contaminants on your lungs
► Drain mucus from the lungs: cough it UP!!
► Exercise: Get up and move. Especially after being still for a long time or sitting for a long time
► Eat anti-inflammatory foods
► Chest percussion: pound on your chest (or get someone to pound on your back) as you cough to loosen anything on your lungs
► Hydrate!!! Your lungs are made of 83% water!
Fact: Up to 60% of our body is water. According to H.H. Mitchell, Journal of Biological Chemistry 158, the brain and heart are composed of 73% water, and the lungs are about 83% water. The skin contains 64% water, muscles and kidneys are 79%, and even the bones are watery: 31%. We need to stay hydrated with clean water!
𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
REST, but KEEP MOVING. Keep coughing and loosening that stuff up.
𝐃𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞.
So, so important. I know you're tired and just want to lay in the bed or wherever you fall, but you can't let that stuff settle in your lungs. We don't want to end up at the hospital for obvious reasons. Don't lay flat on your back for long periods of time.
𝐄𝐚𝐫 𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬/swimmer's ear
This is what I do. I'm not a doc. I've already left disclaimers in this post!
50/50 white vinegar and alcohol
-OR-
Organic Apple Cider Vinegar with the mother (ACV)
I have used colloidal silver...but honestly, the above mentioned two have been successful 100% of the time for our family. I have done silver twice; it's so expensive, I hate to use that much silver in my ear for what I'm doing with it.
Not sure you should do any of this if you have a busted eardrum. If someone knows better, they can comment down below. I've never had a busted ear drum and can't speak on that. I know colloidal silver isn't painful on wounds, so maybe that would be ok? I don't know.
Instructions:
1. Fill the ear with said liquid with a dropper tool GENTLY 2. Let it sit for....idk...maybe 30 seconds making sure it gets down in the ear canal and fills it. 3. When you're ready to get it out, use a towel and flip your head quickly to get it out. Don't let it flow out slowly bc anything loose it cleans out (yuck), you don't want left in there. 4. Do the other ear. 5. I do this twice in both ears...even if only one ear is hurting. Might as well do preventative care on the other ear ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 6. Bacteria like warm and moist places. So sometimes, I dry out the ear with the blow dryer.
I don't always do it....but I recommended it ;)
I will say, if you choose to use ACV, I personally filter out the mother. I put a paper towel over a cup and pour the ACV in. Also, I no longer use Braggs brand because it's been bought by someone else, so I would just try to find an organic ACV of your choice.
𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐫
This stuff literally does everything. You can add it to your water, spray it up your nasal passageway, a gel for your skin....You can put in your eye for eye infections. It kills MRSA. Staph infections. Skin infections, etc.
I really suggest looking it up so I don't have to write a mile long post. This is the brand I use; I get it from my doctor. I gargle it at the the first sign of a cold, itchy ears, sore throat, etc. Sovereign Silver is also another popular brand.
Speaking of gargling, do it often. Just like exercising your lungs (as mentioned above), gargling is good to do regularly! Just do it when you are drinking water throughout the day. It breaks down secretions and gets bad stuff outta there where it likes to hide and gather up.
Other random tips that I harp and harp and harp on around my household:
► HYRDRATE! For all the reasons! Hydration is also a natural way to regulate body temp and it helps your body get rid of the toxins making you sick.
► Keep your hands out your face. Periodt! My girls drive me nuts with this as they've gotten older. What is it about becoming a teenager that you have to touch your face constantly? They did better when they were younger. Anyways....
When I worked in a doctor's office, I was surrounded by sickness at least half the year....so this is just one small thing I try to do. I don't know where this falls with germ theory vs. terrain theory. I never claim to be an expert on anything. It is very interesting to research those two topics, though (germ theory vs. terrain theory). Also interesting both are still considered a theory.... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
► Limit sugar when you are unwell. Limit sugar anyways, but really try to when you are unwell.
► Wash your hands with regular soap and water.
► Did I already mention hydrate?!
𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐟𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫:
This is a big one. We let fevers run their course in this house. By the grace of God, we've never had 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐲 high fevers (maybe up to 104). That said, I am going to attach a Mayo link bc this is not something everyone is comfortable with doing and I don't want to be held responsible for any bad decisions made by anyone. So I'm sharing that link AND what I do. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
We are so ingrained to think that anything over 99 we need to go into panic mode. I𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐲, calm down and let your immune system work and HYDRATE.
If I have a fever and am not severely dehydrated due to vomiting and diarrhea for days, I let it run its course.
Artificially lowering a temp is stopping your body from doing what it needs to do to get better. Letting it run its course, you get better faster if you are a relatively healthy person.
Yes, even a low-grade fever will make you feel like poo. But it is what it is.
Being sick ain't always pretty. Sometimes it's real ugly. Your body is in the process of getting rid of toxins and things that aren't supposed to be in there!
If you are high risk or have chronic health problems, ask your doc what to do and not someone on the internet ;)

𝐃𝐄𝐄𝐏 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆
(shortness of breath, heart racing, etc)
Our body need oxygen. No big revelation there! We need to make sure we are taking some deep breaths throughout the day. I find myself so focused on what I'm doing, that I haven't taken a deep breath or my breathing is shallow and quick.
Stop. And take some deep breaths!
𝐃𝐨 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐱𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮. Fear, anxiety, and being scared releases hormones that are not good for our immune system. That is scientific fact and really interesting to research. When you start feeling anxious, try to take some deep breaths.
Inhale slowly and deeply through your nose. Hold the breath for a second or two. Keep your shoulders relaxed. Exhale slowly through your mouth (exhale through your mouth because when you are exhaling, it's another way for your body to get rid of waste). Repeat this breathing exercise. Do it for several minutes until you start to feel better and less anxious.
When it comes to breathing or your heart racing, trust yourself to gauge whether or not it's an emergency. Sometimes it's our nerves getting the best of us because fear and death is being crammed down our throats 24/7.
Sometimes we need medical attention. I can't make that decision for you.
As I said in the beginning, Living in a consistent state of fear, panic, stress, and anxiety can make one sick or exacerbate illness. This is a well-known established fact.

I am being for real. I am seeing so much negativity and just.....gosh. Social media is horrible. The news is horrible. Try to avoid scrolling through your regular social media feed. Just go directly to groups or sites you know are uplifting and edifying.
I would turn off the TV, too, honestly. We all know by now they aren't telling us the truth about anything.
When you are researching ANYTHING that is scary, do it in increments especially if you are unwell already.
We are called to be wise as serpents, but don't immerse yourself or become obsessive. I am speaking first-hand on that 🖤

Words have power.
Be careful what you say to yourself and others.
This is not "new age", these are facts.
This is not law of attraction.
We are NOT attempting to manifest anything by our own power, we simply are to be more intentional and mindful.
Bad things will happen and law of attraction doesn't adequately prepare people for trials and tribulations. Trials and tribulations strengthen you and refine you! They also teach us that we can and will fail, that we need to depend more on The Most High and not our ourselves.
I'm not saying you have to be fake positive all the time. It's just to point out that we need to be intentional with our words. The effects of the spoken word on water are real; and when you think about how much of our body is made of water, let that sink in.

Examples of things we jokingly say: "This is killing me." "You're killing me." "I ain't gonna make it." "I can't breathe." "I'm dying"
When music has you repeating over and over that you're losing control, out of control, drunk, crazy, high as a kite, or that you don't give a f***, Remember the Word tells us we are to be of sound mind, sober, vigilant, caring/loving, and taking every thought captive.

We destroy arguments and opinions that go against God!
Speak Life
Looking back on the past few years:
What have relationships become when friends, family, and employees are so disposable? What happens when there's a perpetual fear of death with a society valuing nothing but survival? What about living in a perpetual state of emergency? A hyper fear of death or focusing on not getting sick, how does that affect society as a whole? (Rhetorical questions after listening to something today)
Faith nugget: As a child of God, no one can push you around or dangle your job or death over your head, in order to get you to do something the Spirit of God is telling you not to do.
The world exploits the fear of death to people with no hope.
The last few years have shown many people who/what is in charge of their voice, their mind, their body, and their spirit.
Some people do not realize they are addicted to the chemicals their brain produces when they are afraid or the dopamine levels they get when they are virtue signaling.

Lymphatic Drainage:
Like a fish tank filter, it cleans out bacteria, viruses, toxins - and even traps cancer cells, slowing their spread. When they stagnate, it wreaks havoc on your body (triggering cardiovascular and brain issues) but you can turn them 'on' via these six pressure points.
