My common sense reasoning on why God would allow Satan/evil/the enemy to exist:
God didn't make us robots. He gave us free-will. So, what does that have to do with it? You can't see the good without evil and you can't know what is evil without the good. God didn't make us robots that do His will all the time. He gave us free-will, the ability to choose. He gave us the opportunity to choose good and frankly, we don't always choose good. Ultimately, God will throw all evil into the Lake of Fire forever. Until then, we can choose. It's like you can't please everybody....do you want free-will from our Creator or not? It's all by design. His design.
If God is all Powerful & Loving Why Does Evil Exist? A powerful 10 minutes.
Instead of asking why God allows bad things to happen, ask Him how He allows us another day on this earth knowing what we did and thought yesterday.
Don’t fall for the sissified Jesus that “needs you”. Nope. 𝑾𝒆 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝑯𝒊𝒎.
Can anyone teach knowledge to God, since He judges those on high?
Who has directed the Spirit of the LORD, or informed Him as His counselor?
1 Corinthians 2:16
"For who has known the mind of the Lord, so as to instruct Him?" But we have the mind of Christ.
Hast thou heard the secret of God? and dost thou restrain wisdom to thyself?
Behold, God exalteth by his power: who teacheth like him?
Our adversary: Satan, the Devil, Lucifer, or 'the enemy' is known by a number of names in Scripture. All of these names point to his evil character. The chief characteristics we find in this creature are his hostility, cunning, power, and evil intent toward God and His people. Link for more info on that here: Blue Letter Bible App
This is something I'm studying hit or miss right now. So maybe down the line I can add my findings here. Until then, God bless you! I hope this short note and the short video helped.
