I’ve seen this come up three times today. That is no coincidence! The Book of Revelation has had theologians pulling their hair out forever; so don’t feel intimidated to read it. Just read it and pray for wisdom and understanding.
“The overall point of the Book of Revelation is to show us in advance that Jesus Christ wins in the end. He even saw it fit to give us a little peek in what's to come for us His children. A new perfect world with no end.” - Cory George
Ephesians 1:17
"that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him,"
James 1:5
"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him."
1 Corinthians 2:14
The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them - because they are spiritually discerned.
Luke 12:37
“Blessed are those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes.....”
Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
Revelation 22:7, 14 7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book. 14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Revelation 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
Revelation 19:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
