Christ came knowing how it would all play out. How He PLANNED for it to play out. He knew people were carnal minded and not spiritually minded. They were looking for a king, but not the kind of king Christ was/is.
He told the Jewish people: “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” The temple was His body.
He is alive. The tomb is empty. He appeared to many in the 40 days following His resurrection.
When Christ yielded His spirit at the Cross (Matthew 27), many people saw the the veil of the temple torn in two and felt the earth quake, many saw the graves come open and the bodies of the sleeping saints arise - they went into the city and appeared to many! All those people....saw. And they believed. They said, "Truly. This was the Son of God!"
This is why even though there have been haters of Christ since the beginning, Christ's name lives on.
He will return. Be ready ❤️
