These are not terms I made up. They are the terms the 'powers that shouldn't be' use when they talk about our future. So if you don't like the headline I used or think it sounds whatever, take it up with them.
The World Economic Forum discusses merging man with machine, and gaining access to people's thoughts and emotions, building a construct for people to "safely operate in". Their words, not mine.

Will you get lost in the Fourth Industrial Revolution? Most people when asked don't even know what that is, but it's happening all around us right now. This system is about technological evolution... evolving us.
Artificial intelligence will ultimately offer eternal life with their beast technology. The enemy seeks to be like the Most High. 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝟏𝟒:𝟔
This may sound wild now, but when people are uploading their consciousness to a "cloud" so that after they die they can live on virtually ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (all these things are in the works).
Or maybe folks might want to live virtually while they are still alive? We are doing it to a degree now....with our filters, social media, etc.
Best believe we're getting acclimated. It's going to be way more than putting on a chunky set of glasses or headset. Living life virtually is dangerous because then our reality can be manufactured even more than it already is.
Science and technology would be "pretty neat" if you trusted them to have our best interest in mind. If you think that, I got a bridge to sell you. Call me anti-science all you want; 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭, 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 - I'm out!
