I saved a meme years ago....I'd have to dig for it...but I've never forgotten some of what it said. "There are several versions of you living in the minds of people."

With social media, we share something, expect people to read it, be able to digest it, and come to similar conclusions we do. But it's usually quite the opposite. Few read it. Few can digest it. And very very few will come to the same conclusions we might. What's closer to the truth is most people just scroll and skim. When we share facts, they see theories. It's just the way it is. It doesn't make it any less tough to witness....but we do have to consider these things when casting our pearls.
